Etheric had initially (2004) attained an engineering achievement of deploying the highest automous broadband fixed wireless system known in the world (750' above ground). Now in 2010, we have gigabit ethernet enabled  the entire length of the tower up to 740', taking what we learned both good and bad maintaining this high altitude site we are using industrial gigabit ethernet switches capable of withstanding 190 degreees farenheit, as well as more elegant fan system with thermostat controller. We are mounting these relay sites each 250' up the tower to create a redundant backbone up and down the tower.
